Ma’an Network is an independent Non-profit media organization working to strengthen non affiliated media and consolidate freedom of expression and media pluralism as a means of promoting democracy and human rights.

Through its multiple media channels, including local and satellite television, radio and online news, Ma’an Network consistently offers viewers the best information and analyses, reflecting the organization’s reputation for quality, independence and trust.

With its headquarters based in Bethlehem, Ma’an Network has regional offices in Ramallah, Nablus and Gaza. The organization works in partnership with 8 TV stations and 12 local radio stations ensuring programs reaches a wide local audience.

Ma’an Network delivers impartial information to viewers, and provides on-going media training programs across the region.

Training programs are tailored to respond to industry needs and focus on areas such as investigative journalism, safety training for journalists reporting from conflict areas, human rights, and media ethics.

As the only local media organization that can provide news reports from both Gaza and the West Bank, Ma’an Network unveils stories which would otherwise remain untold.

Ma’an Network media programs foster dialogue between citizens and decision makers and create space for the voices of marginalized groups to be heard. Ma’an Network has pioneered financially sustainable independent media.

The organization has designed a business model, enabling Ma’an Network to generate revenue through commercial services such as selling advertising space on the popular Ma’an News Agency website as well as through SMS breaking news.

To date, this approach has led Ma’an News Agency to become 50% financially self sustaining.

Undeterred in its mission to convey the truth, Ma’an Network will continue to expose injustices and analyze complex events to keep communities well informed.
