Objectives:

• Producing educational and entertaining television programs that engage the entire family
• Informing viewers throughout Palestine and the Arab world about Palestinian heritage, culture, and daily life

In cooperation with PBC, Ma'an Network produced a range of special television programs for Ramadan 2008, when families commonly watch television together in the evenings after breaking their fast. The line-up included several series of thirty episodes highlighting the distinctive characteristics of villages and cities across Palestine, which were broadcast daily during the holy month on Ma'an Network stations and the Palestinian satellite channel (Palestine TV), reaching viewers throughout the Middle East.

Our Villages, Our Recipes presented a cultural and culinary tour through Palestine. Each episode explored the historical and cultural heritage of a particular village, with a resident demonstrating how to cook a local specialty. Filmed in the Old City of Jerusalem, From the Heart of the Capital portrayed the historic alleys, neighborhoods, and landmarks of the holy city for Palestinian and Arab audiences who are largely unable to visit the capital. Cities and Dignitaries highlighted the history, industries, and famous residents of various urban centers throughout Palestine.
